How It Works
Starting clinical exercise doesn't need to be complicated. From your free consultation to your first supervised session, we guide you through a clear, structured process designed to get you moving safely and confidently.
Most clients begin their personalised program within a week of first contact and notice meaningful improvements—reduced pain, better balance, less fatigue—within 6 to 8 weeks of consistent training.
(20 minutes, free)
Step 1: Complimentary Consult
Book a free, no-obligation chat with one of our Exercise Physiologists.
We'll discuss your condition, goals, symptoms, current function, and any concerns—plus confirm your rebate eligibility (Medicare CDM, NDIS, DVA, private health).
You'll leave with a clear picture of how we work and whether we're the right fit.
Most consults are booked within 2–3 business days.
(45–50 minutes)
Step 2: Comprehensive Initial Assessment & Program Design
Your EP conducts a full clinical assessment: health history, medication review, functional movement screening, strength and balance tests, cardiovascular and respiratory baselines, and pain and fatigue scales.
Together with your Exercise Physiologist, you’ll design a personalised exercise programme including exercise selection, dosage, progression planning, and safety parameters. You’ll receive a written summary, and with your consent, we’ll provide a report to your GP or specialist.
Your programme begins immediately. The first two sessions are conducted one-on-one with an Exercise Physiologist, allowing close supervision, technique instruction, and careful adjustment to your individual needs. We believe comprehensive supervision during the early stages leads to safer, more sustainable long-term progress.
Most clients notice improved confidence and reduced pain or fatigue within 4–8 weeks of supervised sessions.
45-60 Minute Sessions
Step 3: Supervised Sessions, Ongoing Monitoring & Reassessment
Attend supervised small-group sessions with 2–3 Exercise Physiologists on the floor, or one-on-one sessions if your Exercise Physiologist determines you require closer supervision. Session times typically run for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Your programme is tracked on analogue cards (no app required), adjusted daily to your symptoms, and formally reassessed every 6–12 weeks. Progress reports can be provided to your GP, specialist, or NDIS planner where appropriate.
Over time, clients commonly improve strength, balance, endurance, and overall function, while their healthcare team receives clear reporting to support ongoing treatment and funding decisions.
Clients typically report meaningful functional improvements — such as climbing stairs more comfortably, reduced fatigue, or improved balance — within 6–12 weeks of consistent supervised exercise. Long-term maintenance and progression are supported for as long as needed.
Real People, Real Results, Real Independence
From walking without a frame for the first time in years to deadlifting 100kg despite MS-related fatigue, our clients achieve outcomes they never thought possible. These aren't typical gym transformations—they're life-changing improvements in pain management, mobility, strength, and independence for people managing chronic conditions and complex health challenges.

You Don’t Need To Know Where To Start
Many people contact us feeling unsure — about exercise, funding, referrals, or whether they’re “suitable” for an exercise physiologist. That’s normal.
We take the time to understand your situation first. From there, we’ll explain what support is appropriate, what funding may apply, and what the next step looks like. No pressure. No rushing.
